Instead, speaking the truth in love...
Ephesians 4:15a

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments (Matt. 22:36-40).”

How to love like Christ?

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matt. 6:33).

We love because he (God) first loved us (1 John 4:19).

The Beatitudes - Matthew 5:3-8, Jesus said:

3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4
Blessed are those who mourn [over their sins],           for they will be comforted.
5
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,         for they will be filled.
7
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8
Blessed are the pure in heart,
     for they will see God."

God's Cure for Depression & Chronic Disease

Unspoken/unrepented sins are the #1 cause of depression...& chronic disease

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.  For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.  Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin (Psalm 32:3-5).
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person [after their confession] is powerful and effective (James 5:16).

“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself” (Philippians 2:3).
