About
PUUR exists to enable non-toxic, heart-led, Zen conversations — the #1 practice of the true Top 1% for health and wellbeing.
What are PUUR origins?
It is well-established since the dawn of recorded history; focused, heart-led conversations have been the #1 practice of humanity's best — those who opened to the most love and truth — and thus are the most loving and enlightened.
From 1400 BC of the Old Testament Bible, Buddha's Eightfold Path to AD 62 of the New Testament Bible, 500 AD of Zen China (known as Lin-chi "Zen") to 1200 AD of Zen Japan, where Zen masters from the regarded, Pure Land School, sought a higher level of consciousness than what solo meditation could achieve, developed and called these conversations, Zen Koans. Soon after, Zen Koans were practiced by lords, warriors, and emperors of Ancient Japan.

Zen masters from the regarded, Pure Land School, accelerated their compassion and consciousness by practicing Zen Koans facing each other.
As time went on, Zen Koans migrated to the West, where it was kept from the masses and taught only in the most exclusive circles and luxury retreats.
Today, Neuroscience calls Zen Koans, Transformational Conversations, or Zen Dyad Meditation. We call it PUUR.
“This [Zen Koan] technique is about 50 times more rapid in producing enlightenment experiences than the common meditations.”
Yogeshwar Muni, Master Yogic Teacher
For over twenty years, since 2001, PUUR Founder, Richard Lee, has integrated and practiced what is today called, PUUR; combining the 10-min compassionate inquiry framework of Zen Koans with ten leading life sciences; from relational neuroscience, trauma-informed neurobiology, somatic experiencing, relational clinical psychology, modern sociology to Jungian shadow work.
PUUR stands as the #1 practice for mental health and wellbeing because PUUR has one foot rooted in unparalleled ancient legacy and the other foot in modern leading-edge science. Together, our amazing members have made mental health...easy, finally!
“The data from the groundbreaking research told us; the best way forward is to harken back to old traditions.”
